The complex of Fishmongers, built in 1536 by Giulio Romano, consists of two porticoes (loggias) placed on the sides of the bridge that crossed the Rio and the rooms connected to them.
Thanks to the intervention of the’Association of Friends of Palazzo Te and the Mantua Museums and of the Giulio Romano's Fishmongers Foundation, the Fishmongers of the East have recently been returned to the community.
