HOUSE OF MANTEGNA
Building entrance:
In the areas surrounding the Casa del Mantegna, there is a system of signage and tactile paths that can facilitate orientation for the blind and visually impaired.

For those coming from the Viale Risorgimento parking lots, the sidewalks are narrow enough to accommodate only one wheelchair. The same applies to the sidewalk in front of the building entrance.
Ticket office:
The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user, so you may need to have a companion help you or ask the staff to step out of the desk.
Visiting route:
Ground floor: The interior spaces are easily accessible to all, free of architectural barriers and adequately sized. Since this space is dedicated to temporary exhibitions, there may be limited traffic during certain installations, but minimum requirements are met.

Another iconic feature of the house is its circular internal courtyard, accessed via a slight step that can only be overcome with the assistance of a companion. The cobblestone flooring is not easily accessible to all.

First floor: The upper floor is accessed via a double flight of stairs with handrails. There is also a wheelchair-accessible platform lift, but it is limited in both width (less than 75 cm) and depth (about 120 cm). The door opens like a swing, and since it faces the stairs, there is limited room for wheelchair access.

Toilets:
The restrooms, including accessible ones (as required by law), are located in the basement. They are accessible via a double flight of stairs or the lift described above.
Additional services:
There are no additional services.
Given the temporary nature of the exhibitions hosted, the accessibility features of each individual installation must be verified on a case-by-case basis.
