Center of the Prince's private life
Parade Ground It represents the ancient castle square and is the center of Vespasiano Gonzaga's private life. The castle was located where the school stands today and was a veritable fortress surrounded by a wide, deep moat connected to the square by a drawbridge. A narrow, covered passageway with arches connected it to the complex. Garden Palace which follows the typology of suburban villas, but is still inserted within the city walls.
