Thus the Church of the Incoronata was donated to the Fabbriceria
At the beginning of the 19th century, during the French occupation of Sabbioneta, large-scale purchases of buildings and lands belonging to public property or suppressed religious congregations began. Among these were the former Convent of the Servites and the Church of the Incoronata, which became the exclusive property of the Forti family. In 1826, Leone Donato Forti donated the property to the archpriest's vestry. Church of the Incoronata and the adjoining convent, with the intention of transforming it into an orphanage. A marble plaque stands beneath the church's entrance portico, a lasting reminder of this legacy.
