Every year the Mantua and Sabbioneta World Heritage Office proposes to the schools of all levels in the area a series of paths of heritage education aimed at knowledge of the site Mantua and Sabbioneta and the values linked to the World Heritage.
The routes are made up of interactive classroom lessons And guided tours in Mantua and Sabbioneta, held by our educational operators.
Below are our proposals, broken down for the different school levels (Click on the image to see it larger):

CLASSROOM LESSONS
The following topics are covered during the lessons:
- the role of the’UNESCO in the protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage;
- the birth of the World Heritage Centre, starting from the well-known events of Abu Simbel;
- knowledge of the UNESCO sites in the world, through the analysis of the characteristics and of the motivations which led them to be considered important assets for all humanity;
- the importance of the intercultural dialogue;
- everyone's responsibility in the protection of heritage and in its care as Common Good;
- The site Mantua and Sabbioneta he values which have been recognised by the World Heritage Centre;
- Urban features of Mantua and Sabbioneta and why they constitute a single site.
THEMATIC VISITS
The visits to the two cities will be aimed at understanding the urban planning aspects, and do not include entrance to monuments and museums.
Their reservation is subject to the holding of classroom lessons.

Participation is reserved for schools in the province of Mantua. For the schools of The activities of the Municipality of Mantua and the Marcaria-Sabbioneta Comprehensive Institute are free., until available resources run out.
