Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Interpretation of heritage for schools
Target audience: teachers of all levels.
Objectives: To test the usefulness of the interpretive approach in educational and scholastic contexts, to design an interpretive path for children as a learning unit using two methods: a more traditional 'top-down' one and a more participatory 'bottom-up' one.
The meeting is limited to a maximum of 10 participants. Priority will be given to those who have attended the introductory module.
Duration: 8 hours

Tuesday, June 4th, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
Personal interpretation
Target audience: tourist guides, museum educators, environmental hiking guides, museum/Heritage Centre reception staff.
Objectives: To offer a storytelling and audience engagement tool, through exercises designed to strengthen creativity and develop, conduct, and evaluate an interpretive session (guided tour, one-on-one interpretation, or conference). 
The meeting is limited to a maximum of 10 participants. Priority will be given to those who have attended the introductory module.
Duration: 8 hours

Wednesday 5 June 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Interpretatively communicating a Heritage Site
Target audience: communications professionals and communications staff within cultural institutions within the UNESCO Site.
Objectives: Learn the skills and strategies needed to implement an effective and engaging communications project, taking into account different specific target audiences; define the various aspects needed to communicate the importance and value of the Mantua and Sabbioneta UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Duration: 4 hours

Monday, September 30, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Interpretation, accessibility and inclusion
Target audience: tourist guides, museum educators, environmental hiking guides, museum/Heritage Centre reception staff.
Objectives: To raise awareness of accessibility in its broadest sense, starting with the planning and organization of cultural site visits using appropriate tools and strategies to make them as rewarding and engaging as possible; to improve participants' skills in accessibility and inclusion through an interpretive approach.
Duration: 4 hours

To participate in the in-depth modules it is necessary to complete the following
registration form.
The meetings will be held in the Sala degli Stemmi of Palazzo Soardi (Via Frattini, 60) in Mantua.
All meetings are free and aimed primarily at cultural professionals working in the Mantua and Sabbioneta areas.
