What is a Heritage Centre?
The term heritage covers both the cultural and natural heritage with which the local community identifies, inherited from the past and passed down to future generations. Mantua and Sabbioneta were inscribed in 2008 as a single site on the UNESCO World Heritage List, representing a tangible and intangible legacy of ideas, values and traditions stretching back centuries, belonging to all and accessible to all.

This Centre aims to evoke the extraordinary value of the two cities, united for over 500 years by Renaissance ideals.
