TEMPLE OF SAN SEBASTIANO
Ticket office
Visits to the Temple are managed by the staff of Palazzo San Sebastiano, so visitors must go to the pertinent ticket office. The reception desk is high for a person in a wheelchair, but members of staff have been trained to cope with everyone’s needs.
Entrance to the building
The space in front of the Temple is cobbled making it hard to negotiate.
The entrance to the main hall of the Temple is via a steep staircase of about 20 steps. There is no real handrail, apart from the wide parapets at the sides. The stairs are damaged and uneven.
Access to the lower crypt is via two steps, but there is no handrail.
Consequently many users find that access to the building is limited.
Visitor route
Main Hall: Once inside the Temple, the hall is completely level.
Lower Crypt: Once inside the Crypt, the space is completely level.
Toilets
There are no toilets. The nearest ones are in Palazzo San Sebastiano.
Additional facilities
There are no additional facilities and there are no services to facilitate knowledge of the church by blind and visually impaired persons.
