By car
There are sveral parking areas very near the building, including reserved parking spaces (marked on the map). Under certain conditions, such as the use of a manual wheelchair, this could be hazardous and/or uncomfortable.
NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM
Ticket office
The ticket office is the same as that of Palazzo Ducale and is located under the arches in Piazza Sordello. The reception desk is high for a person in a wheelchair, so you may need the help of a companion or to ask the staff on duty to leave their workstation.
Entering and exiting the building
The main entrance is in Piazza Sordello and is the same for all users. The exit is onto Piazza Castello, which is connected to Piazza Sordello by a cobbled ramp with a gradient of over 8%. It is possible to contact the staff of Palazzo Ducale to request access to the car park in Piazza Castello.
Visitor route
The visitor route inside the museum is fully accessible and there is a lift connecting all floors. However, due to the shape of some of the displays, it may be difficult on several occasions for people in wheelchairs or children, for example, to see the exhibits and the information system.
Toilets
The toilets are accessible by people with disabilities (as indicated by law).
Additional facilities
There are no additional facilities and there are no services to facilitate knowledge of the church by blind and visually impaired persons.
