Virgil Museum, a new one cultural and innovative space dedicated to the great Latin poet, which the city has decided to dedicate to him.
Moreover, the bond between Virgil and Mantua is as deep as live – it is no coincidence that, in the Middle Ages, Palazzo del Podestà earned the nickname “Palazzo di Virgilio”.

The museum is made up of eight rooms that provide access to the recently restored rooms of the Palazzo del Podestà, Arengario, and Masseria in the heart of the city.
There are three main sections, those dedicated to the works of Virgil – Bucolics, Georgics, and the Aeneid – where multimedia and multisensory installations take viewers directly into the works, evoking the themes and sensations shaped by Virgil's verses.
