By car
There are several parking areas in the immediate vicinity of the building, including reserved parking spaces (shown on the map). The parking lots are cobbled, and you must walk for a medium-long distance before reaching the sidewalk. In certain circumstances, such as when using a manual wheelchair, this could be a source of danger and/or inconvenience.

DUCAL PALACE
Ticket office
The ticket office is located under the portico in Piazza Sordello. The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user, so you may need the assistance of a companion or ask the staff to leave the desk.

Entrance to the building
Given the complexity and vastness of the Doge's Palace, it was not possible to eliminate all architectural barriers along the museum tour. However, visitors with mobility impairments are perfectly able to visit the entire museum itinerary, albeit in a different order and accompanied by museum staff. The Camera degli Sposi (Bridal Chamber) is accessed from Piazza Castello, along a cobbled path that may present some difficulty for wheelchair users. Once visitors reach the entrance near the exedra, staff will accompany them into the Castle of San Giorgio. Once they exit, they must return to Piazza Sordello 40 and enter the entrance hall under the portico. From there, museum staff will accompany visitors on the remaining itinerary. For further information, please call 0376352100.

The presence of an external companion is recommended but not necessary.
Visit itinerary
The wheelchair-accessible tour is accompanied by museum staff, who operate the elevators and lifting platforms. At the castle entrance, there is a lift measuring approximately 100 cm on each side, making it small and not easily accessible for everyone.
Access to Corte Vecchia is via a suitably sized lifting platform.

The exhibition spaces are accessible thanks to wooden ramps and stairlifts.

Due to the layout of the displays, in some cases children or people in wheelchairs may have difficulty viewing the exhibits and the information panel.
Toilets
Accessible toilets are available (in accordance with regulations).
Additional services
There are no additional aids along the main tour to help blind and visually impaired visitors explore the site; however, with materials available for touch, the palace offers a tactile and sensorial tour titled "With Your Eyes" and "The Paradises of the Gonzagas," a sensory journey through the palace gardens.
