HOW TO GET THERE
Public Transport
From Piazza Sordello (A) you can take the APAM lines: 4T / 4S / 4C / Servizio Navetta Te.
From the train station (B) you can take the APAM lines: 8 / 4C / 4S / 4T.
All APAM buses are equipped with a lifting platform and, for urban routes, a voice announcement service for bus stops.
At present, for adequate assistance Reporting of use of the service is required.

By car
There are several parking areas in the areas near Palazzo Te (shown on the map).
These have parking spaces reserved for disabled permit holders.
People with disabilities are permitted to drive to and from the museum entrance.

Entrance to the building
The building has an entrance located on the main facade.
From here, on the right there is an area dedicated to the ticket office and services.
The tour begins on the left.
Access to these two spaces is via ramps.
These have an adequate slope and are equipped with handrails.

Ticket office
The ticket office is large and has a counter that is also accessible to wheelchair users.
The staff is trained to meet the needs of all visitors.

Services offered include a cloakroom, audio guides, and two wheelchairs available at the museum.
Braille guides of Palazzo Te are available upon request (to be returned at the end of the visit).

There is a water point where you can refill your water bottle. The height of the dispenser makes it difficult for wheelchair users to use.

Visit itinerary
The entire route is flat and allows you to admire the main rooms of the Palace.
At the beginning of the visit there are tactile maps of the city and the palace.
There is also a video station with LIS support.
Along the route there are tactile reproductions, with Braille captions, of details of the frescoes that decorate the rooms.



Opening doors along the route may require assistance from a companion or staff on site.
There are seats along the route.
Access to the Courtyard of Honor is via a ramp and two steps without handrails.

Exedra Courtyard and Secret Garden Apartment
From the Loggia of David it is possible to access the Exedra Courtyard and reach the Secret Garden Apartment.
From the loggia it is necessary to go down a small step, which can be easily overcome with assistance.
This may be necessary for navigating outdoor gravel paths.

Access to the Secret Garden Apartment is via a ramp and two steps without handrails.
Toilets:
At the end of the tour on the ground floor, there are accessible toilets (in accordance with regulations).
Additional services:
At the end of the tour on the ground floor, there is a bookshop with adequate space and trained staff to meet everyone's needs.
There is a cafeteria and a study and meeting space (Spazio Te) which can be accessed (more easily) from the side of the building or from the exedra courtyard (gravel path).


Accessible toilets are available in the area (as required by law).
