HOW TO GET THERE<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Public Transport:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

From the train station (B) you can take the APAM lines: CC \/ 4C \/ 4T \/ 8. Once you reach Piazza Sordello (A), the Basilica is approximately a 5-minute walk away.<\/p>\n

All APAM buses are equipped with a lift and, for urban routes, a voice announcement service for bus stops. Currently, for adequate assistance,\u00a0Reporting of use of the service is required<\/u>, within two working days before use.<\/p>\n

The building is located in a restricted traffic zone. Holders of disabled passes issued by other municipalities can request access by completing the online form.\u00a0ZTL Disabled Pass Reservation<\/a>\u00a0or by writing to\u00a0infomulte@comune.mantova.it<\/a><\/p>\n

PALACE OF REASON<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Building entrance:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The main entrance is located on Piazza Erbe, and to reach the first floor of the building, one must ascend a large, steep, monumental staircase. The current restoration project is preparing a new entrance, equipped with an elevator, to make the building accessible to all.<\/p>\n

Visiting route:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The large hall, the main museum space, is easily accessible thanks to its size and the absence of architectural barriers. The exhibition inside the Clock Tower, due to the only stairs (narrow and steep, but equipped with handrails), is not accessible to many visitors.<\/p>\n

Toilets:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are no accessible restrooms because they are located in the Palazzo del Podest\u00e0 area, which is currently closed for renovations. Restrooms are occasionally made available for large-scale events. In those cases, they are accessible to everyone.<\/p>\n

Additional services:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n
