Any site that applies to be included in the <\/em>World Heritage List<\/strong> must submit to the UNESCO Committee a Application Dossier<\/strong> structured according to a predefined format. Mantua and Sabbioneta <\/strong>they presented the Dossier in January 2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 1 \u2013 Identification of the asset<\/strong>
The information necessary for the identification of the property is provided, the geographical coordinates, the maps indicating the perimeters<\/a>, the identification of historical and architectural assets, protected buildings, protected historical and landscape areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 2 \u2013 Description<\/strong>
Description of the Mantua area and of Mantua and Sabbioneta, of the main urban monuments, and of the history and development of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 3 \u2013 Justification<\/strong>
The site must submit its draft declaration of outstanding universal value and the criteria according to which it is proposed for inscription, which the UNESCO Committee will decide whether to accept or modify. The comparative analysis highlights the site's specific characteristics compared to other Renaissance cultural capitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 4 \u2013 State of conservation of the property and factors affecting the property<\/strong>
Report on the current state of conservation and on the factors that may affect the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 5 \u2013 Protection and management of the asset<\/strong>
The tools and measures that ensure the protection and proper management of the property, the environmental or landscape protection constraints, and the existing planning tools are indicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 6 \u2013 Monitoring<\/strong>
Key indicators are identified to measure the state of conservation of the asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 7 \u2013 Documentation<\/strong>
List of images and bibliography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 8 \u2013 Coordinates of the responsible authorities<\/strong>
Institutional references of the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 9 \u2013 Signature of those responsible<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Section 10 \u2013 Attached<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
