The routes are designed based on the tourism potential of the accessible resources, including its cultural, natural, and food and wine heritage.<br><br>Starting from Mantua the routes wind along three directions: to the north, towards&nbsp;<strong>Castiglione delle Stiviere<\/strong>, the path follows the&nbsp;<strong>Carolingian Way<\/strong>, the route that Charlemagne traveled in the year 800 from Aachen to Rome.
