Know them to protect them."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is the first project dedicated to the Mantua and Sabbioneta site, aimed at schools. From 2009 to 2012, it involved more than 2,000 students and teachers from 20 schools of all levels in activities designed to educate young people about the importance of the World Heritage List and the values that led to the inscription of Mantua and Sabbioneta. The activities carried out throughout the school year were channeled into the organization, at the end of each school year, of the School Days for World Heritage, which in subsequent years became a regular event for schools at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PROJECT SHEET<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Production times<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>2011-2012\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Goals<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The project \u201cMantua and Sabbioneta, exemplary cities of the Renaissance: knowing them to safeguard them\u201d involved students and teachers from 20 schools in Mantua and Sabbioneta (nursery, primary and secondary schools) in educational activities aimed at making young people aware of the importance of the establishment of the World Heritage List and the values that led to the inscription of Mantua and Sabbioneta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Actions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The project&#039;s educational activities were inaugurated with the &quot;Day of the Schools of Mantua and Sabbioneta associated with UNESCO&quot; organized in Mantua on 21 May 2011, during which the children participated in performances, exhibitions, workshops and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the 2011-2012 school year, classes were guided through the site and its significance through guided tours of the two cities, meetings with experts, and classroom activities led by teachers with the scientific support of the Friends of Palazzo Te Association and the Mantua Museums. Local museums and cultural associations also collaborated on the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The in-depth study and workshop activities conducted with teachers and students not only promoted the values of the Mantua and Sabbioneta site, but also fostered a sense of responsibility toward the heritage and a commitment to its care. Each class developed personalized learning paths to explore themes related to respect for heritage and personal responsibilities for its preservation, with the ultimate goal of developing standardized learning paths and tools to offer to all schools interested in learning more about the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the project, the 20 schools involved have been registered in the Italian National Network of Schools Associated with UNESCO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Resources<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>MIBACT (Law 77\/2006) and the Municipalities of Mantua and Sabbioneta.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c8 il primo progetto dedicato al sito Mantova e Sabbioneta rivolto\u00a0alle scuole.
