The course begins with a presentation of the method and then delves into how it works in various communication contexts.<\/div>\n<div><strong><u>The purpose<\/u><\/strong> The purpose of the training session is to give participants the opportunity to:<br \/>\u2022 Understand, recognize and create opportunities for intellectual and emotional discovery of the cultural and natural heritage of the UNESCO site of Mantua and Sabbioneta<br \/>\u2022 Know the principles and philosophy underlying the Heritage Interpretation method<br \/>\u2022 Understand the interpretative potential inherent in one&#039;s work and personal history<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong><u>Topics covered<\/u>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpretation of Heritage: A Definition in Progress. From Transcendentalism to Tilden&#039;s Six Principles to the Present.<\/li>\n<li>The purpose of heritage interpretation: from facts and information to interpretation, creating a meaningful relationship. Memory and learning.<\/li>\n<li>Interpretation is strategy, a change of perspective in the relationship between guide, Good and visitor.<\/li>\n<li>Putting the audience at the center: understanding visitor needs and desires.
