Mantua: Cremona-Milan, Monselice-Padua, Verona-Modena, Naples-Rome-Verona railway lines
Sabbioneta, which does not have a train station, is 8 km from Casalmaggiore station and 14 km from Bozzolo station.

By car

Mantua: A22 Modena-Brennero motorway, Mantova Nord (4 km) and Mantova Sud (11.5 km) exits / A4 Milan-Venice motorway, Desenzano, Sirmione, Peschiera and Verona Sud exits.
Sabbioneta: A1 Milan-Naples motorway, Parma exit (30 km) / A21 Turin-Piacenza-Brescia motorway, Cremona exit (47 km).

How to get between Mantua and Sabbioneta

By bus

Mantua and Sabbioneta are connected by APAM's Interurban Line 17. The line does not pass through Mantua's historic center, but the relevant stops can be reached via the Circular Urban Line.

By car

The route winds along the Provincial Road 420 Sabbionetana which connects the two cities.

By bike

The Mantua-Sabbioneta cycle path it's a mixed cycle route (for bikes and cars) that connects the two cities of the UNESCO site. The route winds for approximately 49 kilometers on low-traffic roads, through the wetlands of the Oglio Sud Park.
