NOBLE SIGNS, Popular paths and palaces of power in the lands of the Gonzaga It's a project to enhance the walking and cycling routes that identify Mantua as a hub and gateway for exploring the region. The routes are designed based on the tourism potential of the accessible resources, including its cultural, natural, and food and wine heritage.
Starting from Mantua the routes wind along three directions: to the north, towards Castiglione delle Stiviere, the path follows the Carolingian Way, the route that Charlemagne traveled in the year 800 from Aachen to Rome. From Mantua, following the cycle paths it is possible to reach to the east Sandpit and to the west San Benedetto Po, discovering the territory and the Gonzaga Capitals of the Oglio Po and the Oltre Po Mantovano.
